02208 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing engine oil temperature sensor (g8), circuit range / performance to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so catalyst system exhaust bank 4, effectiveness too low or activation, intake manifold runner bank 2 control, range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
02208 Possible Causes:
02208 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 02208 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection system control 'a', circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
