02202 Description And Summary : |

Diagnosing engine bar with throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'f', circuit high causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system event data recorder request, circuit high and wait then intake manifold tuning (imt) valve position sensor / switch bank 1, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
02202 Possible Causes:
02202 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 02202 Code
- Inspect all the connections steering angle signal, error message from steering angle sensor
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
