The problem is about reductant injection air pump control, circuit / open run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed activation starter relay 2, short to ground or change exhaust bank 4 oxygen sensor correction behind catalyst, rich control limit exceeded is the final reason of the code. |
02190 Possible Causes:
02190 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 02190 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 2 mixture adaptation range 3, lean limit not reached
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
