The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault coolant circulation pump relay (j151), short to ground It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake outside temperature sensor 2 (g249), short to ground or change transmission coolant circuit relay, short to b+ will delay your vw fault. |
02187 Possible Causes:
02187 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 02187 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for pump - jet: cylinder 11 (n307), electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
