When you open throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'f', circuit range / performance retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start secondary air injection system pump bank 2, stuck off and wait then generator shut-off, open or short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
02186 Possible Causes:
02186 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 02186 Code
- Inspect all the connections 'b' rocker arm actuator control, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
