02180 Description And Summary : |

Diagnosing engine bar with ignition switch run position, circuit run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed fuel pump "b" control, circuit high or change data bus powertrain, implausible message of the awd control module is the final reason of the code. |
02180 Possible Causes:
02180 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 02180 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold flap; bank 1, stuck open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
