This code were stamped on VW Engine case please check dtc memory of instrument panel ecu causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system evaporative emission system switching valve control, circuit low . On the other hand injector cylinder 15 (n392), circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
02179 Possible Causes:
02179 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 02179 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas recirculation vent control, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
