This something to do with the intake camshaft timing linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / pump current, short to b+ retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start o2 sensor negative current control bank 2 sensor 1, circuit high or secondary air injection system control 'b', circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
02176 Possible Causes:
02176 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High

- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical

What To Check After Fixing 02176 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / pump current, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
