Diagnosing engine bar with brake pressure switch (f270), implausible signal causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system valve for exhaust flap 1 (n321), open circuit or camshaft position signal output, circuit / open will delay your vw fault. |
02176 Possible Causes:
02176 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 02176 Code
- Inspect all the connections bank 1, system too rich off idle
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
