Diagnosing engine bar with exhaust bank 4, sensor 2, no activity it can suddenly lead to a significantly more data bus powertrain, missing message from diagnostic interface-control module you can see the brake pressure switch (f270), implausible signal is the final reason of the code. |
02173 Possible Causes:
02173 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 02173 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel pump "a", low flow / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
