The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault nox sensor bank 1, circuit range / performance the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles relay for supply voltage terminal 30 (j317), implausible signal or o2 sensor reference voltage bank 1 sensor 1, performance will delay your vw fault. |
02171 Possible Causes:
02171 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 02171 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 3, probe 1 heating circuit short-circuit after pluses
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
