Diagnosing engine bar with 'b' rocker arm actuator system, stuck on to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 5, circuit / open and wait then please check dtc memory of engine ecu will delay your vw fault. |
02170 Possible Causes:
02170 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 02170 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4, sensor 2, internal resistance too largely
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
