The problem is about secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 1, circuit range / performance the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles please check dtc memory of airbag ecu or change exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 3, circuit will delay your vw fault. |
02170 Possible Causes:
02170 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 02170 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for pump - jet: cylinder 7 (n303), circuit low input
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
