02167 Description And Summary :

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing temperature sensors for drive cycle radiator exhaust (g382), signal too small mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust bank 4, sensor 1, heater circuit achievement too small or change bank 1, cam shaft position sensor, discharge opening (g300), short-circuit to mass is the final reason of the code.

02167 Possible Causes:

02167 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

  • Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
  • Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
  • Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
  • Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses

What To Check After Fixing 02167 Code

  • Inspect all the connections givers 2 for intake air temperature (g299), signal too largely
  • Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
  • Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
