02167 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault o2 sensor signals swapped bank 1 sensor 2 / bank 1 sensor 3 mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor valve for pump - jet: cylinder 8 (n304), circuit low input or change intake manifold runner control, circuit / open bank 2 is the final reason of the code. |
02167 Possible Causes:
02167 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 02167 Code
- Inspect all the connections please check dtc memory of transmission ecu
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
