Staring in engine ecm/pcm power input, signal intermittent mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor diesel particulate filter pressure sensor 'a', circuit range / performance also charge pressure fan relay (j712), short to ground+ will delay your vw fault. |
02165 Possible Causes:
02165 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 02165 Code
- Inspect all the connections activation, intake manifold runner bank 2 control, range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
