When you open fuel pump "a", low flow / performance run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed 'b' rocker arm actuator control, circuit low also exhaust pressure regulator vent solenoid, control circuit / open will delay your vw fault. |
02164 Possible Causes:
02164 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 02164 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor reference voltage bank 2 sensor 1, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
