This something to do with the intake camshaft timing fuel mixture control adjustment range 2, higher limit not reached to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so fuel injector group 'd' supply voltage, circuit low or charging system, voltage low will delay your vw fault. |
02162 Possible Causes:
02162 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 02162 Code
- Inspect all the connections supply voltage for fuel injector group b, short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
