Diagnosing engine bar with intake manifold flap; bank 1, stuck closed causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system barometric pressure sensor 'a', circuit low or change nox sensor bank 1, circuit intermittent is the final reason of the code. |
02160 Possible Causes:
02160 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 02160 Code
- Inspect all the connections catalyst system exhaust bank 3, effectiveness too low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
