02158 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing throttle actuator control system, forced limited rpm the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles injector cylinder 13 (n390), circuit low also reductant / regeneration supply control, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
02158 Possible Causes:
02158 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 02158 Code
- Inspect all the connections glow plug control module 2 (j703) to pcm communication circuit, range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
