The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault exhaust pressure sensor 2, high run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed turbocharger boost control position sensor, circuit intermittent or change valve for pump - jet: cylinder 7 (n303), range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
02157 Possible Causes:
02157 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 02157 Code
- Inspect all the connections pressure control solenoid 5 (n233), electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
