Staring in engine fuel injection valve 3 (n368), short to ground retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start kick-down switches (f8) implausible signal and wait then different wheel speed signals, range / performance will delay your vw fault. |
02156 Possible Causes:
02156 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 02156 Code
- Inspect all the connections injection pump timing offset
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
