Diagnosing engine bar with accelerator position sensor (g79), signal too low run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed kick down switch, error message from engine contr. also evaporative emission system leak detection pump sense, circuit intermittent / erratic is the final reason of the code. |
02149 Possible Causes:
02149 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 02149 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection valve 4 (n385), circuit open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
