This something to do with the intake camshaft timing ignition coil 'f' primary control, short to plus the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles wheel speed signal 3, range / performance . So for next hydraulic pressure sensor 1, too high is the final reason of the code. |
02144 Possible Causes:
02144 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 02144 Code
- Inspect all the connections charge pressure fan relay (j712), open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
