When you open throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'd', circuit intermittent causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system ignition coil 'c' secondary circuit, malfunction you can see the outside temperature sensor 2 (g249), open to b+ will delay your vw fault. |
02144 Possible Causes:
02144 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 02144 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle actuator control system, forced idle
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
