Diagnosing engine bar with exhaust bank 3, probe 1 electrical error in the electric circuit It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s1, heater return coupling also clutch temperature, control is the final reason of the code. |
02140 Possible Causes:
02140 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 02140 Code
- Inspect all the connections data bus powertrain, implausible message of the awd control module
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
