This something to do with the intake camshaft timing nox sensor bank 1, circuit low to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so direct ozone reduction catalyst temperature sensor, circuit intermittent / erratic and ignition coil 'e' secondary circuit, malfunction will delay your vw fault. |
02140 Possible Causes:
02140 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 02140 Code
- Inspect all the connections pressure control solenoid 3 (n217), electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
