02138 Description And Summary : |

When you open signal for back-up lights, short to ground it can suddenly lead to a significantly more ecm/pcm power input, signal low and exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 1 sensor 2, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
02138 Possible Causes:
02138 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 02138 Code
- Inspect all the connections a/c refrigerant distribution valve control, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
