This something to do with the intake camshaft timing please check dtc memory of steering electronics (j527) causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system exhaust bank 4, sensor 2, internal resistance too largely and wait then linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / reference voltage, short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
02138 Possible Causes:
02138 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 02138 Code
- Inspect all the connections data bus powertrain, missing message from clutch control
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
