02137 Description And Summary : |

Diagnosing engine bar with starter activation, return message terminal 50, implausible signal retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust gas recirculation cooling system, performance or change ignition coil cylinder 16, open circuit is the final reason of the code. |
02137 Possible Causes:
02137 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 02137 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature bank 2, too high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
