The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault ignition coil 'l' primary control, circuit low the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles throttle actuator control motor, circuit high or change exhaust aftertreatment fuel injector 'a', circuit / open is the final reason of the code. |
02124 Possible Causes:
02124 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 02124 Code
- Inspect all the connections hydraulic pump for overdrive / low range (v190), electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
