02124 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing injector cylinder 16 (n393), open circuit mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, voltage too low during deceleration or nox sensor bank 2, circuit range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
02124 Possible Causes:
02124 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 02124 Code
- Inspect all the connections transmission coolant circuit relay, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
