The problem is about exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 5, circuit high run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed ecm/pcm power input, signal or pressure control solenoid 4 (n218), electrical malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
02121 Possible Causes:
02121 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 02121 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve 2 for load pressure control (n274), interruption/short-circuit after mass
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
