The problem is about ecm/pcm power relay sense, circuit range / performance It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 2, circuit or change ecm/pcm power input, signal low is the final reason of the code. |
02118 Possible Causes:
02118 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 02118 Code
- Inspect all the connections oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s1, pump current, short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
