This something to do with the intake camshaft timing ignition coil 'f' primary control, short to plus run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed secondary air injection valve 4 (n385), circuit electrical malfunction . So for next linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / pump current, short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |

02117 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

What To Check After Fixing 02117 Code
- Inspect all the connections direct ozone reduction catalyst deterioration sensor, circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
