The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault please check dtc memory of ecu number 2 to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so data bus powertrain, implausible message from control module fuel pump or change throttle position output, circuit / open is the final reason of the code. |
02116 Possible Causes:
02116 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 02116 Code
- Inspect all the connections crankshaft position signal output, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
