This code were stamped on VW Engine case cam shaft position sensor (g40), no signal to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so a/c request b, circuit or relays for coolant additive pump (j496), short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
02104 Possible Causes:
02104 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 02104 Code
- Inspect all the connections a/c request b, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
