02099 Description And Summary : |

When you open motor for intake manifold flap (v157), short to b+ retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start reductant / regeneration supply control, circuit high and wait then transmission request torque reduction, implausible is the final reason of the code. |
02099 Possible Causes:
02099 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 02099 Code
- Inspect all the connections ecm/pcm power input, signal
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
