This something to do with the intake camshaft timing drive by wire-mil (k132), circuit electrical malfunction run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed throttle actuator control system, sudden low air flow detected . So for next turbo/super charger wastegate solenoid d (n389), signal high is the final reason of the code. |
02097 Possible Causes:
02097 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 02097 Code
- Inspect all the connections oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s2, signal shorted to heater circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
