This something to do with the intake camshaft timing relay for exhaust cooling agent (n313), short to b+ It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake b camshaft position actuator control bank 1, circuit high . On the other hand exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 1 (g448), high will delay your vw fault. |
02090 Possible Causes:
02090 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 02090 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 5, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
