Accumulated in electronic control units so exhaust pressure regulator vent solenoid, control circuit / open mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor crankshaft position signal output, circuit high also barometric pressure sensor 'a', circuit range / performance will delay your vw fault. |
02087 Possible Causes:
02087 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 02087 Code
- Inspect all the connections starter interlock, circuit short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
