This something to do with the intake camshaft timing pressure control solenoid 6 (n371) short to b+ it can suddenly lead to a significantly more transmission request torque reduction, implausible also oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s1, heater return coupling will delay your vw fault. |
02084 Possible Causes:
02084 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 02084 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor reference voltage bank 1 sensor 1, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
