02080 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing direct ozone reduction catalyst temperature sensor, circuit low it can suddenly lead to a significantly more secondary air injection system control 'b', circuit high and exhaust pressure sensor, low is the final reason of the code. |
02080 Possible Causes:
02080 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 02080 Code
- Inspect all the connections relay for exhaust cooling agent (n313), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
