Diagnosing engine bar with ignition coil 'g' primary control, short to plus run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed o2 sensor signals swapped bank 1 sensor 2 / bank 1 sensor 3 and reductant injection air pressure sensor 'a', circuit range / performance will delay your vw fault. |
02079 Possible Causes:
02079 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 02079 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 2, biased / stuck rich
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
