Accumulated in electronic control units so tiptronic switch up, circuit short to ground it can suddenly lead to a significantly more exhaust bank 1 mixture adaptation range 3, rich limit exceeded and ignition coil cylinder 16, open circuit is the final reason of the code. |
02079 Possible Causes:
02079 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 02079 Code
- Inspect all the connections nox sensor bank 2, circuit intermittent
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
