This something to do with the intake camshaft timing throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'f', circuit low run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s1, heater return coupling or glow plug/heater relay 2 circuit, open or short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
02078 Possible Causes:
02078 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 02078 Code
- Inspect all the connections activation 2-unit injector valve, electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
