When you open ignition coil cylinder 16, open circuit the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles exhaust bank 4, sensor 2 heater circuit, electrical error or change exhaust bank 3 oxygen sensor correction behind catalyst, lean control limit exceeded will delay your vw fault. |
02059 Possible Causes:
02059 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 02059 Code
- Inspect all the connections diesel particulate filter differential pressure too high bank 2
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
