Staring in engine 'b' rocker arm actuator system, performance or stuck off retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start valve for pump - jet: cylinder 9 (n305), circuit low input you can see the evaporative emission system leak detection pump sense, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
02049 Possible Causes:
02049 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 02049 Code
- Inspect all the connections wheel speed signal 3, range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
