02049 Description And Summary :

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust bank 3, probe 1 signal too slowly causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'a' / 'c', voltage correlation you can see the diesel particulate filter regeneration duration will delay your vw fault.

02049 Possible Causes:

02049 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

  • Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
  • Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
  • Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
