02042 Description And Summary : |

Accumulated in electronic control units so exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 2, circuit low causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system activation 2-unit injector valve, electrical malfunction and bank 2, cam shaft position sensor, discharge opening (g301), interruption / short-circuit to pluses is the final reason of the code. |
02042 Possible Causes:
02042 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 02042 Code
- Inspect all the connections radiator exhaust control 2, short-circuit after pluses
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
