This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust gas temperature control circuit bank 4, out of range mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor torque management feedback signal "b", low . On the other hand linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / pump current, short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
02041 Possible Causes:
02041 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 02041 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'a' primary control, short to plus
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
