Diagnosing engine bar with power supply (b+) terminal 15, low voltage run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed radiator exhaust control 2, short-circuit after mass and wait then fuel injection valve 2 (n367), short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
02040 Possible Causes:
02040 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 02040 Code
- Inspect all the connections data bus powertrain, missing message from control module electric parking brake
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
