Staring in engine fuel mixture control adjustment range 2, higher limit not reached causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system coolant fan control module 2, malfunction or change glow plug / heater indicator (k29), circuit open / short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
02036 Possible Causes:
02036 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 02036 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel additive control module requested mil illumination
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
