Accumulated in electronic control units so fuel injection valve 4 (n369), short to ground the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles ng high pressure valve (n372), short to b+ . So for next fuel tank pressure (ftp) sensor (g400), open circuit is the final reason of the code. |
02031 Possible Causes:
02031 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 02031 Code
- Inspect all the connections malfunction indication light (k83), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
