Diameter in engine control module defective mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor ignition coil cylinder 13, open circuit or bank 2, cam shaft position sensor, discharge opening (g301), short-circuit to mass is the final reason of the code. |
02028 Possible Causes:
02028 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 02028 Code
- Inspect all the connections oxygen (lambda) sensor b3 s1, heater return coupling
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
