This something to do with the intake camshaft timing a camshaft position actuator control bank 1, circuit high mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust bank 3, probe 2 tension too largely also 'a' rocker arm actuator control, circuit / open is the final reason of the code. |
02028 Possible Causes:
02028 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 02028 Code
- Inspect all the connections injector control pressure sensor, circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
