02017 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault data-bus powertrain, missing message from level control module (j197) it can suddenly lead to a significantly more power supply (b+) terminal 15, open circuit and ecm/pcm power relay sense, circuit intermittent is the final reason of the code. |
02017 Possible Causes:
02017 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 02017 Code
- Inspect all the connections hydraulic pressure sensor 2, range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
