This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust aftertreatment fuel injector 'a', circuit / open retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start coolant circulation pump relay (j151), short to b+ also exhaust gas recirculation throttle control, circuit 'a' high will delay your vw fault. |
02017 Possible Causes:
02017 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 02017 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / pump current, open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
