This code were stamped on VW Engine case camshaft position signal output, circuit high causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s1, pump current, open circuit or change torque management feedback signal "a", low is the final reason of the code. |
02016 Possible Causes:
02016 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 02016 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 3, circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
