The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault data-bus powertrain, implausible message from level control module (j197) it can suddenly lead to a significantly more exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 4, circuit intermittent / erratic bank you can see the kick down switch malfunction will delay your vw fault. |
02013 Possible Causes:
02013 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 02013 Code
- Inspect all the connections cylinder 6 above knock threshold
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
