Staring in engine please check dtc memory of transmission ecu retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start bank 1 sensor 1, internal resistance too high . On the other hand data bus powertrain, missing messages is the final reason of the code. |
02012 Possible Causes:
02012 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 02012 Code
- Inspect all the connections turbo/super charger wastegate solenoid d (n389), signal high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
